Give your two performers a clear start.
What to look for in each photo, what to avoid and how to review your choices before using credits.
Choose one subject per photo
The studio has two separate photo slots, one for each performer. A picture with one obvious subject makes your intention clearer than a group photo. Start with an image where the face occupies enough of the frame to inspect it easily.
If a picture contains several people, choose a different portrait or crop your own copy before uploading. Avoid cropping so tightly that part of the face disappears. The site does not provide an in-app crop editor.
Check light, focus and visibility
Look for a photo that is in focus and evenly lit. You should be able to see the eyes, nose and mouth without zooming into a tiny face. Strong backlighting, deep shadow and motion blur remove details that help describe the person.
Sunglasses, a hand across the mouth or a filter that changes facial proportions can make a result harder to predict. A natural portrait is a useful starting point. These choices help provide clear input, but no photo can guarantee a perfect likeness or precise lip sync.
Review the angle and the whole picture
Try a front-facing or gently angled portrait before an extreme side view. Inspect the background and any objects near the face. Choose the picture for its clarity rather than for an elaborate pose.
The generated video follows a performance reference. It is not a promise to preserve every detail of the uploaded outfit, background or pose. Use the example to understand the overall style, and expect shots, movement and appearance to vary between generations.
Use a supported file
Each file must be JPG, PNG or WebP and no larger than 15 MB. If your phone saved a picture in another format, export a supported copy before selecting it. Renaming a file extension does not convert its contents.
Check the preview after choosing each file. If it is the wrong picture, use Change photo or Remove photo. The preview stays on your device until you submit the task. Refreshing the browser or closing the tab can discard photos that have not been submitted.
Make sure both performers agree
Only use pictures you have permission to use. Every real person shown must be at least 18 and must agree to appear in the generated video. Ask before using someone else’s portrait; public availability is not permission.
Review both photos and the permission statement before starting. If you are unsure about using an image, choose another one that you can confidently use. You can read the Terms and Privacy pages for the site’s purchase, photo and processing information.
Your final photo check
Open both previews and take a moment to check them together. The two slots should contain the two performers you intended, with supported files and clearly visible subjects. Then check your credit balance and start when you are ready.
- The right photo is in each performer slot.
- Both faces are clear and unobstructed.
- Both files display correctly and meet the size limit.
- You have the required permission for both photos.
